The Recursive Muffin

While I was at Hope, I ran into the sexton, who was driving a tractor.  He had just finished filling in a recent grave and was concerned that I not walk on the snow, which de-insulates the ground under the footprints and causes ice to form in the ground(!)
It was an interesting conversation, because Hope is, in a way, a sculpture museum of the first order.  And this guy with his patched down vest and tractor was effectively the curator…
